Judge Maire Aileen Dempsey was elected to the bench by the voters in Cook County in 2020. She currently serves in the Law Division Motion Call.
Prior to becoming a judge, she was a civil litigator. She started her career defending individuals sued after car accidents. She spent most of her career defending doctors, nurses and other health care professionals.
