Elizabeth Ciaccia-Lezza is a Circuit Court Judge assigned to the Fourth Municipal District. She was elected to the bench in 2018, currently presiding over criminal and traffic cases.
After graduating from The John Marshall Law School in 2000, Judge Ciaccia-Lezza was a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney for over eighteen (18) years as a prosecutor in the felony trial division. She spent the last nine (9) years in the Sex Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, prosecuting cases of sexual assault involving children.
Judge Ciaccia-Lezza is a volunteer catechist at a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) religious education program. She assists in the weekly education of first graders, preparing them for the sacraments of Christian initiation.
Judge Ciaccia-Lezza lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband and two (2) rescue dogs.
