Experienced Judge since 2018
Jack Hagerty was elected to the bench in 2018. Virtually all of his judicial service has been in the Skokie Courthouse. There he sits in a variety of courtrooms including: civil, criminal, domestic violence and traffic. Prior to becoming a judge, Jack spent over twenty-five (25) years in private practice with Taft Stettinius & Hollister and Phelan Pope & John, handling complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense in courts across the country. Jack is a graduate of Chicago Kent College of Law and St. Mary’s University. Jack also worked in public accounting for Ernst & Whinney and became a Certified Public Accountant in May of 1983. Since 1980, Jack has been one of the co-hosts of the Hagerty Family Irish Hour, the longest running ethnic radio program in the United States.
