Judge Mike McHale

Judicial Experience:   Judge McHale was elected in 2006. He is currently assigned to the Criminal Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where he hears felony cases. His previous assignments include working with the Presiding Judge at the 26th & California courthouse. He has also heard Domestic Violence cases and issued Orders of Protection.

Legal Experience: Prior to becoming a judge, Judge McHale worked as a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney for 15 years in the Cold Case Homicide Unit and as a supervisor in the Preliminary Hearings Unit.
