Judge Martin C. Kelley
Accolades: Previously found qualified or recommended by nine Bar Associations.
Judicial Experience: Judge Kelley was elected full circuit judge in 2012. His initial assignment was the First Municipal District handling traffic and misdemeanors. He was assigned in the Spring of 2013 to the Third District Courthouse in Rolling Meadows, where he hears non-jury civil matters. Prior to this assignment he presided in Mental Health, Veterans, and Parentage courtrooms.
Legal Experience: Prior to becoming a judge, Judge Kelley practiced civil litigation with his brothers and father at the Schaumburg law firm of Kelley, Kelley & Kelley for 20 years.
Education: Thomas M. Cooley Law School (J.D., 1992); Loyola University of Chicago (B.A., 1988); St. Viator High School (1984).
Awards: Champion of Mediation (Oct. 2015) from the Center for Conflict Resolution, for providing access to justice through mediation.
